Jonathan Leifer

Chairman and Founder, Partner

Jonathan brings over 20 years of experience as an active real estate investor and a vast global network of private and institutional investors to the table. Prior to founding L3CCP, Jonathan traded oil and related energy products on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange for over 17 years. While on the floor, Jonathan served on the Settlement and Floor committees. Concurrent with his trading career, Jonathan was an active investor in diverse asset classes including real estate, technology startups, and private investments in publicly traded companies. Jonathan serves on the boards of several not for profit and charitable organizations including, American Friends of Shalva, Hebrew Academy of Long Beach, and the DALE Fund.

Chaim Kiffel

President, Partner

As President of L3C Capital Partners, Chaim brings over 30 years of business development and senior management experience in the US and abroad. Chaim joined L3CCP in November 2011, after having owned and operated a small real estate investment firm. He had previously co-founded in 1998 with AIG Israel’s first mortgage insurance company, EMI, where he was CEO, and later served as Senior VP, for AIG’s mortgage guaranty business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Chaim was formerly a partner at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis. Chaim has a J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was an editor on the Law Review, and a B.S. from Northeastern Illinois University.

Yossi Cohn

Director of Acquisitions and Business Strategy, Partner

Yossi oversees acquisition, disposition and strategic business direction for L3C, drawing on his over 15 years of finance experience. Prior to joining L3CCP, Yossi founded YY Capital Partners, an investment and advisory firm focused on middle market companies, before which he served as Director of Investor Relations for IDT Corporation (NYSE: IDT), and Director of Research for a U.K. based family office, SAGEN Asset Management. Yossi began his career as an analyst at Millburn Ridgefield Corporation within the firm’s Fund-of-Funds investment group. Yossi presently serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Pioneer Power Solutions (NASDAQ: PPSI).

Edward Lowy

Partner

A founding member of L3C Capital Partners, Ed develops relationships needed to source and fund L3CCP’s acquisitions. Prior to L3CCP, Ed traded oil and related energy products on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange for over 6 years. Ed serves on the boards of several not for profit and charitable organizations including YDT Elementary School, the Tova Mentoring Program, and MBR Seminary. Ed received his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
